To accelerate the further growth and fast expansion of our video-on-demand platforms in The Netherlands and abroad, we are looking for an experienced EMEA Paid Social Marketing Specialist. It’s required to have experience with large budgets. You will be responsible for EUR 800K per quarter. You also have a strong analytical mind. If you have worked at a digital agency on client side it’s a pre.

DutchChannels is a subscription based video-on-demand platform. We are specialized in niches with our so called special-interest channels. New Faith Network, WithLove and TheaterThuis are some of our platforms. We launched our first platform in 2017 in The Netherlands. Now in 2020 we run several platforms in NL, UK, LU, IE, BE, NO and SE and are looking to reach the number of 100.000 subscribers end of the year. Coming year new countries will be opened in the EMEA region for which you will be responsible marketing wise!

We are ambitious and are preparing new special interest channels te be opened in current countries we service and the new countries to be opened. Are you our new EMEA Paid Social Marketing Specialist to facilitate our growth through social media and online advertising?

Vacancy EMEA Paid Social Marketing Specialist

Budget management

You operate within our Marketing team and are the specialist and leader where it comes to advertising on the Social Media platforms and other online opportunities. You are responsible for handling the budget and making decisions on spending the budget in close cooperation with the Marketing Director.

Day-to-day management

You are the one who runs the day-to-day management of the paid social channels and constantly you try a new channels and other online opportunities. You are data driven and based on your and your team’s analyses, you experiment and optimize with the advertisements in order to keep the growth. A/B testing is part of this. All in all, you are in the lead to improve the performance through creative testing and new optimization strategies.

Roadmap / strategy

You build a roadmap for each of our special interest channels and translate this for usage at the various social media channels for specific countries.


Further, you will work closely together with our external digital agency in order to manage them, and to develop and implement new ideas and strategies.

Based on your experience and the outcome of the campaigns, you will share your knowledge with the rest of the marketing team and the various stakeholders. In this way we all can learn from each other and get more inspiration in order to excel.

As our platforms also produce lots of data based on what is and/or has been viewed at what time, you will try to find/gain further insights. You will do this together with our data analysts of the Data Engineering team.

Profile EMEA Paid Social Marketing Specialist

We would like for you to have at least six years of experience in social media advertising, preferably on an agency and client side; managing campaigns in multiple countries. Bachelor/master degree, yes please. Know your way around with Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics etc.
