Client is a world wide operating company with well known brands in the retail. With finance teams, sales offices and distribution/production locations spread around the world, together with SSC’s (Shared Services Center), the intercompany transactions are quite complex.
Vacancy Intercompany Accountant
In order to ensure accurate and timely closes, including resolving possible discrepancies, we are looking for a keen Intercompany Accountant to support us. You will be part of the Shared Service Centre and operate in the R2R team.
Under guidance of a very experienced Senior Accountant you will oversee the monthly close process. You review the journal entries, intercompany HFM tie-outs and the reporting. The reports are complex, so this can be challenging depending on your experience. It also means that you need to gain knowledge of all intercompany transactions.
You have accountability for “all” discrepancies!
There is more to be told, but once you know it is about Blackline, aged intercompany balances, SOP’s and SOX controls, you know what we are talking about.
At least a bachelor’s degree and about 5 to 7 years accounting experience in EMEA environment, including intercompany transactions.
Experience with ERP (Oracle) and reporting system Hyperion or HFM.
Challenging tasks within a complex reporting structure and dito responsibility (revenue +40M). Colleagues who are interested in you! and who support and help out each other. You start with a temp contract and if all goes well this will change to a long term contract by January / February 2021.
